Description

The 1756-L84E is a ControlLogix controller. This controller is a high-end controller with a modern design and connectivity that makes it ideal for large applications.

The controller refers to the main command device that changes the wiring of the main circuit or control

circuit and changes the resistance value in the circuit to control the start, speed regulation, braking and

reverse of the motor in accordance with the predetermined sequence.
Memory and storage: The controller has 20MB of built-in user memory and can be expanded with an optional

2GB Secure digital (SD) card (1784-SD2) for long-term program storage.
Energy conservation and environmental protection: The 1756-L84E uses modern energy storage

solutions that retain the contents of volatile memory without the use of batteries, which makes

the controller more environmentally friendly and user-friendly.
Operating performance: In terms of power consumption, the controller consumes 5mA of backplane

current at 1.2V DC and 1.2mA of backplane current at 5.1V DC. Its operating heat dissipation is 21.2 BTU/

hour. In addition, it provides 50V isolation voltage between USB port to backplane, Ethernet port to backplane, and USB port to Ethernet port.
